Moisturizing Shampoo

WHO IS IT FOR.

Curly hair that needs a lot of moisture to look its best. Dry or damaged hair that needs that same richness. Anyone who wants a moisturizing shampoo.

WHAT DOES IT DO.

Lather is rich. Hair rinses clean and soft. All-natural ingredients create a soft note of almond, cocoa, and vanilla.

HOW IT DOES THAT.

Base: Aloe is the liquid the shampoo is built in.

Performance: Hydrolyzed jojoba protein is a peptide, protein broken down small enough to hold onto the hair. It strengthens hair, helps it keep moisture, and keeps it smooth. Hydrolyzed jojoba esters add softness and help wet hair feel smooth and easy to work through.

Clean: Sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is made from C14-16 olefins. It is the main cleanser. It lifts oil and dirt into the water so they rinse away. It is not a sulfate. Decyl glucoside is a mild sugar-derived cleanser that keeps that clean gentle. Sodium methyl cocoyl taurate is a mild coconut-derived cleanser that adds to the clean. Cocamidopropyl betaine and cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine are coconut-derived cleansers that help with clean and build a full, rich lather. Glycol distearate gives the shampoo its pearly look and a soft feel.

Condition: Plant-derived conditioning agents, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride and polyquaternium-10, help wet hair feel smooth and easy to work through, and leave hair soft after you rinse. Glycerin helps hair hold water.

Aroma: Benzaldehyde (apricot kernel oil extract) is the almond note. Cocoa distillate is the cocoa note. Vanillin is the vanilla note.

Keep it fresh: a coconut-derived preservative system. Caprylhydroxamic acid (CHA) is made from coconut fatty acids. Caprylyl glyceryl ether helps stop microbes. Propanediol is a plant-derived solvent that helps that system work. Gluconolactone supports that system. Together they keep the shampoo safe in the bottle without parabens.

WHAT ELEVATES THIS.

The base is aloe, not water. Hair-restoring jojoba peptides. A moisturizing shampoo with jojoba softness built in.

WHAT WE ARE NOT.

No dimethicone. No cyclic siloxanes. No PEGs. No hidden synthetic chemical fragrance blend. No parabens, sulfates, gluten, formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, artificial colors, ethanolamines, or animal-derived ingredients.
