WHO IS IT FOR.

WHAT DOES IT DO.

Feels light in the hands. Wet hair is easy to work through. When it dries, hair is soft and smooth. Free of the natural aroma ingredients in other Kavella products. Use it after shampoo. Rinse it out.

HOW IT DOES THAT.

Base: Water is the liquid the cream is built in. Olive leaf, chamomile, and green tea hydrosols are botanical waters in that base.

Performance: Hydrolyzed quinoa is a peptide, protein broken down small enough to hold onto the hair. It strengthens hair, helps it keep moisture, and keeps it smooth. Panthenol is provitamin B5. It pulls water into the hair so it stays hydrated.

Condition: Camellia seed oil moisturizes and adds shine. Ethylhexyl olivate is an olive-derived emollient that helps wet hair feel smooth and easy to work through. C13-15 alkane is light and oil-like. It helps the cream spread and leaves hair smooth. A plant-derived cationic conditioner, distearoylethyl dimonium chloride, carries a positive charge, so it clings to hair. That is why wet hair is easy to work through, and why softness stays. Plant-derived conditioning agents, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride and polyquaternium-10, help wet hair stay smooth. Glycerin helps hair hold water. Olive-derived emulsifiers, cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate, turn the water and oils into a real cream. Cetyl palmitate, sorbitan palmitate, and sorbitan olivate help that cream stay smooth. Cetyl alcohol and cetearyl alcohol are fatty alcohols from plant oils. They thicken the cream and keep the water and oils together.

Aroma: Free of the natural aroma ingredients used in other Kavella products. No essential oils. No benzaldehyde, cocoa distillate, or vanillin.

Keep it fresh: A coconut-derived preservative system. Caprylhydroxamic acid (CHA) is made from coconut fatty acids. Caprylyl glyceryl ether helps stop microbes. Propanediol is a plant-derived solvent that helps that system work. Together they keep the cream safe in the bottle without parabens.
