WHAT DOES IT DO.

Feels light in the hands. Defines and holds in a light gel. Oil-free. Soft, flexible hold. Hair stays touchable. All-natural ingredients create a soft note of almond, cocoa, and vanilla. Leave it in.

HOW IT DOES THAT.

Base: Aloe is the liquid the gel is built in.

Performance: Maltodextrin/VP copolymer is the hold. It forms a light structure that defines and controls while hair stays flexible. Dehydroxanthan gum thickens the gel and supports that hold. Together they make the oil-free gel hold. Panthenol is provitamin B5. It softens hair and helps it stay flexible.

Condition: Sodium bicarbonate helps balance the pH of the formula.

Aroma: Benzaldehyde (apricot kernel oil extract) is the almond note. Cocoa distillate is the cocoa note. Vanillin is the vanilla note.

Keep it fresh: Gluconolactone helps hair and the formula hold water, and supports preservation. Sodium benzoate helps keep microbes out of the bottle. Propanediol is a plant-derived solvent that helps that system work. Together they keep the gel safe. This is a different preservative system from the coconut CHA blend in most Kavella products.

WHAT ELEVATES THIS.

The base is aloe, not water. Oil-free flexible hold from maltodextrin/VP and dehydroxanthan gum. Light gel definition. Panthenol so hold stays soft on the hair.
